Mr. Juan’s areas of practice include immigration, construction law, mechanic’s liens, real estate, eminent domain and condemnation.
Mr. Juan graduated with highest honors from the University of Southern Mississippi where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in pre-professional psychology with a minor in criminal justice. In 1997, he obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Utah College of Law. He was the managing editor of the school’s Journal of Land Resources and Environmental Law. His Note, “Environmental Litigation: Coverage Under the Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Policy,” is published in that journal. Mr. Juan has also written articles for the Marquis & Aurbach newsletter and various real estate magazines.
As a law student, he clerked for the law firm of Stoel Rives, L.L.P. in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Utah Attorney General’s Office, Environmental Enforcement and Litigation Division. Mr. Juan also clerked for the University of Utah Hospital, Risk Management Department. He was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1997 and served as the law clerk to the Honorable Michael R. Griffin, First Judicial District Court of Nevada. Mr. Juan joined Marquis & Aurbach in 1997. |
